Labour seeks Govt intervention in doctors' dispute

The Labour Party has called on Health Minister Micheal Martin to intervene in the dispute between public health doctors and health service employers.

270 doctors attached to Ireland's health boards went on strike this morning over pay and conditions and in protest at their employers' failure to implement a nine-year-old agreement.
