Inflation rate falls to 4.9%

Ireland's inflation rate fell by 0.2% last month, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office today.

The CSO said prices increased by 0.8% during March, compared to 0.9% in February, bringing the annual inflation rate down from 5.1% to 4.9%.
