Church authorities in the diocese of Ferns have agreed to pay €300,000 in damages to a man who was sexually abused by a paedophile priest in Co Wexford 20 years ago.

Church authorities in the diocese of Ferns have agreed to pay €300,000 in damages to a man who was sexually abused by a paedophile priest in Co Wexford 20 years ago.

Colm O'Gorman, the director of the One in Four lobby group, which campaigns on behalf of abuse victims, was abused by Fr Sean Fortune between 1981 and 1983.
