Greens may participate in protest
The Green Party has said some of its TDs may participate in this evening's protest against US President George W Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair's war summit in Hillsborough, Co Down.
Party spokesman Ciaran Cuffe said: "[Mr Bush] can't use the cloak of the peace process to disguise the fact that he is killing hundreds of innocent civilians in Iraq."
The Green Party is one of several Irish political parties opposed to the invasion of Iraq.
Sinn Fein is also due to take part in this evening's protest, despite the fact that its leader will meet Mr Bush and Mr Blair tomorrow for talks on the peace process.
