The Labour Party has criticised the Government for what they allege is their failure to honour their pre-election promises to bring schools up to established minimum standards.

Labour's Education spokesperson, Jan O'Sullivan, says current Government spending priorities are wrong and is calling for a special education fund to be created to tackle the problem.
