The SDLP leader Mark Durkan has openly criticised next week's planned meeting between US President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair, which is due to take place in the North.

Bush and Blair will meet at Hillsborough Castle on Monday to discuss the war in Iraq before meeting the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and the Northern parties on Tuesday for talks on the Irish peace process.
