Search to be carried out after emergency landing at Shannon

Officials at Shannon Airport are due to conduct a search of a US passenger plane which made an emergency landing at the airport last night.

The United Airlines flight from London to New York was diverted when a member of the cabin crew saw a bomb warning written on a napkin.
