It's being reported in the North that the Irish Government is prepared to pay at least £30m (€43.5m) towards the cost of a new police training college - if it's built in Derry.

Northern sources say Dublin believe the siting of the academy in Derry would be a major economic boost for the north west region and would cement police reform.
