SAP to create 350 jobs in Galway

Europe's largest software company, SAP, is establishing a support centre in Galway creating 350 jobs over the next four years.

The company already employs over three hundred people at the Citywest Business Park in Dublin.

Now its European Support Centre will be based in Galway.

The centre will provide technical support for customers across Europe and the US.

Tanaiste Mary Harney says these new jobs mean that over five thousand new jobs have been announced in the past seven months.
