Trimble and Ahern to meet in devolution talks

Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble is to meet the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern today as part of efforts to restore devolved government in Northern Ireland.

This afternoon’s talks at the Dail were taking place as political parties await a package from the Taoiseach and British Prime Minister Tony Blair next month.
