SIPTU: 'Partnership deal will help tackle inflation'

SIPTU has claimed that the social partnership deal negotiated at the start of this year will help to tackle spiralling inflation.

Jack O'Connor, the union's vice-president, said the Sustaining Progress package contains measures to tackle inflation, which rose to 5.1% last month, according to figures released today.
