Rail report to be given to minister

A report on the state of rail services in the south-east is due to be presented to Transport Minister Seamus Brennan later this afternoon.

The report is believed to accuse Iarnród Eireann of failing to manage its rail services in the region to the benefit of customers.

The Wexford Organisation for Rural Development said the rail link between Rosslare and Limerick is totally inadequate and needs urged upgrading.
