Burnside: 'republicans are scum'
Hardliners within the Ulster Unionist Party say they will oppose any proposal to devolve control over policing and the courts to a new power-sharing executive at Stormont.
Yesterday, the party's MP for South Antrim, David Burnside, said republicans were scum and not fit for government.
Speaking at his party's annual general meeting in Belfast today he said he would oppose any move to restore devolution and power sharing with Sinn Fein in any circumstances.
