The FAI said today that it would assess the impact of the publication of draft legislation regarding television broadcast rights and the potential impact it would have on football in Ireland.

The FAI said today that it would assess the impact of the publication of draft legislation regarding television broadcast rights and the potential impact it would have on football in Ireland.

A spokesman for the Association said: "In order to develop the game at all levels throughout the country, football needs investment and any potential reduction in revenues earned by the Association will have an impact on the sport’s future development.
