Gardai in Dublin are seeking assistance in identifying the body of a man who was found dead at Killinarden Hill in Tallaght last Tuesday.

The man was in his late twenties or early thirties, he was about 5'8" tall and had black straight hair and a black beard.

He was of light build with brown eyes. It is believed that he may be of middle eastern origin.

He was wearing a black long sleeved padded jacket, a sky blue three-button polo short sleeved t-shirt and a beige three-button short sleeved t-shirt, with a red and white stripe around the upper chest, blue stonewashed jeans with frayed ends, a black leather belt with a silver buckle, brown casual shoes and black socks.

He wore a plain silver ring and a lilac coloured skull cap was found near his body.

He was also in possession of a small copy of the Koran, which had a blue cover and a gold metal symbol embossed on the cover.

The Koran had two inscriptions in English on the inside cover one said "London 94" the other referred to the "Muslim prayer room UCG".
