Employment and unemployment both up as labour pool grows

Ireland's employment and unemployment rates both rose last year, according to the latest Quarterly National Household Survey.

The number of people at work grew by 23,600 to 1,770,000, while the numbers out of work increased by 11,000 to 84,000.
