Twelve people were killed in the IRA bombing attack on La Mon House hotel on 17 February 1978 which was one of the worst atrocities of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

The twelve, all Protestants, were among a group attending the annual dinner dance of the Irish Collie Club.

The commemoration service will take place at St Finnian's Parish Church in Castlereagh, east Belfast later today.
