CONSERVATIVE leader David Cameron became one of the first people to fly into Northern Ireland yesterday as the return of the volcanic ash cloud failed to cancel his campaign plans.

Army explosives teams in the North dealt with more than 750 dissident republican bomb alerts in the past two years, a police officers body said today.

Survivors of the 1978 La Mon bombing will join with relatives of those who died in the attack, to mark the 25th anniversary of the atrocity.

Ulster Unionist MP Jeffrey Donaldson has urged the police to arrest Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams for questioning about the IRA bombing of La Mon House near Belfast in February 1978.
