SDLP calls for British symbols to be removed

The SDLP has demanded all British symbols and flags be removed from courthouses in the North as promised by the British government.

Party leader Mark Durkan said Britain had agreed to the move, but subsequently did a "dirty deal" with the Ulster Unionist Party and reneged on the decision.
