Superquinn plan three-day punt haul

Supermarket chain Superquinn is planning to wind back the clock more than a year by permitting customers to pay for their goods in punts.

Superquinn believes the gesture could tap some of the £280m worth of punts estimated to be still in circulation by Ireland's Central Bank.
