Police seize 'biggest' Northern Ireland ecstasy haul
Police in Belfast have seized what they believe to be the biggest haul of ecstasy ever uncovered in Northern Ireland.
Around 300,000 ecstasy tablets and a quantity of cannabis with an estimated total street value of £3m (€4.5m) has been recovered, says a police spokesman.
Officers stopped a lorry as it arrived in Belfast on the ferry from Stranraer in Scotland.
The drugs were uncovered during a search of the vehicle. A 27-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned by police.
