Detectives are at Limerick's Mid-Western Regional hospital to interview Owen Tracey, the man found stabbed after a fatal shooting near the city on Wednesday night.

Detectives are at Limerick's Mid-Western Regional hospital to interview Owen Tracey, the man found stabbed after a fatal shooting near the city on Wednesday night.

They want to question him in connection with the murder of his 36-year-old uncle Ciaran Keane, who was shot dead in the latest twist in a bloody feud in Limerick.

Mr Tracey remains in a serious condition from his wounds.

Two men and two woman have been arrested in connection with the attacks and are being questioned at Garda stations in Limerick city.

Meanwhile, gardaí are still quizzing brothers Kieran and Eddie Ryan. The brothers were allegedly abducted from near their Limerick home over a week ago.
