Builders plan strike over safety conditions

Builders are to hold a one-day stoppage on Wednesday of next week over falling safety standards on sites.

Eric Fleming from the Congress Group of Building Unions says that builders are demanding safer sites.

He says builders will demonstrate to the public that they are no longer willing to tolerate bad practices in the building industry.
