The Government has announced plans to spend more than €4,300 per kilometre on upgrading non-national roads in Ireland this year.

The Government has announced plans to spend more than €4,300 per kilometre on upgrading non-national roads in Ireland this year.

Announcing the grants to local authorities, Environment Minister Martin Cullen said more than €433m will be spent on non-national roads in 2003.
