Taoiseach emerges from Downing St talks

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has emerged upbeat from his meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair at Downing Street.

The leaders were due to map out plans at today’s meeting for talks involving the governments and the Northern Ireland parties aimed at restoring devolution in the North.
