Ballymaloe sever all links with convicted Allen

Tim Allen has ceased to have any connections with the Ballymaloe Cookery school, the house hotel and all other related businesses.

The decision comes in the wake of Mr. Allen's conviction for the possession of child pornography.

In a statement issued this evening, the Allen family stated that they were conscious that "the values for which Ballymaloe has been seen to stand for since it was started...appeared to have been besmirched."

They family say that between themselves, it has been decided that it would not serve the interests of the business if Mr. Allen was still associated with the Ballymaloe company.
