INO reserve strike right if LRC talks fail

The Irish Nurses Organisation has said it reserves the right to strike if LRC talks fail to resolve the accident and emergency crisis.

The Labour Relations Commission has established an emergency meeting to discuss the matter following a request from the INO.

The organisation had earlier threatened to take industrial action unless the Government resolved the problem of overcrowding and bed shortages.
