Dublin A&E units struggling to cope

Accident and emergency units in Dublin remain in chaos today as the city's main hospitals struggle to cope with a fresh overcrowding crisis.

Many patients were left lying on trolleys or sitting in chairs in A&E units last night and some were even treated in the back of ambulances because there were no trolleys or chairs available.
