Rabbitte to meet Northern parties in Belfast

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte is due to meet delegations from the North's political parties in Belfast later today.

A spokesman said Mr Rabbitte intends to listen to the views of the delegations. Most attention will focus on his meetings with the Ulster Unionist Party and Sinn Fein, the two main players in current efforts to restore the North's devolved political institutions.
