Greens will act to keep US from Shannon

The Green Party has insisted they will apply pressure on Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen to stop US military planes landing in Shannon airport.

The party said the Government was out of step with public opinion on the issue and they intend to increase the pressure on the Government in the coming months.
