Gardai in Donegal released

All three gardai who were being held in Donegal have now been released.

The gardai who were arrested earlier today, were being questioned as part of the ongoing Carty inquiry in the Donegal division.

All three gardai, including a sergeant, have now however been released.

In addition, a file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecution.
