The three men who were killed in a road accident near Listowel, Co Kerry in the early hours of this morning have been named by gardai.

The three men who were killed in a road accident near Listowel, Co Kerry in the early hours of this morning have been named by gardai.

They were 25-year-old Christopher O'Connor of Collnalaught, Listowel, 30-year-old James Culhane of Leitrim Middle, Moyvane, and Patrick Galvin of Leitrim East, Moyvane, who was 34 years.

The fourth man remains in a critical condition at Cork University Hospital.

The accident took place at 12.10am at Caherdown, just outside Listowel on the Ballybunion to Tarbert Road when their car collided with a wall.
