Manslaughter accused refused bail

A 43-year-old man was brought before Cork District Court today and charged with the unlawful killing of Jean Scanlon at her home in Cork city.

Edward McKenna was charged with the manslaughter of Jean Scanlon at 33 Roches Buildings between January 2 and 3.
