A second farmers group is throwing its weight behind next week's rally by the Irish Farmers Association.

The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association is urging its members to join the tractor protest aimed at highlighting the dramatic fall in farm incomes.

Tractors will leave every county in the country on Monday, with up to 300 gathering at Government Buildings in Dublin on Friday.

ICSA president Charlie Reilly said he wants all members of his association to come out on their tractors along the route.
