National Development Plan behind schedule: Bertie Ahern

The Taoiseach has admitted the National Development Plan has fallen behind and that some of the projects laid out under that plan will not be completed within the original timeframe.

He has named cost increases and difficulties in acquiring land, as factors that have delayed some developments.
