Gardai name Cork fire victim

The 25-year-old woman who died in a fire in Co Cork has been named.

Gardai say Maeve O'Shea's hair and clothing caught fire after she tried to light a cigarette from a gas cooker.

The accident happened shortly after 3am in a house in Newmarket in the north of Co Cork.

The woman, a nurse, was rushed to the Cork University Hospital but died from her injuries.
