PSNI treating river death as suspicious

Police in the North have identified the body of a man that was retrieved from the River Bann.

He was 42-year old Seamus O'Kane from Portglenone, Co Antrim.

Police say he had been missing since Sunday and they are treating his death as suspicious.

Mr O'Kane was last seen early on Sunday morning near a licensed premises at the junction of Main Street and Gortgole Road.

Detectives are seeking to question a number of youths who were in the area at around 2.15am on Sunday morning.
