Gardai name Monaghan accident victim

Gardai have released the identity of the pedestrian who was killed in Monaghan overnight.

He was Michael Murphy from Keady in Co Armagh.

He died after being hit by a car on the N2 at Aghaville near Carrickmacross just before 4am this morning.
