PSNI recruitment laws come under fire

The British government is under new pressure to scrap the 50/50 recruitment laws for police in the North.

Hard line Ulster Unionist MP Jeffrey Donaldson has tabled a motion in the House of Commons, hitting out at Chief Constable Hugh Orde's decision to axe the police band because of resource pressures.
