Management at Waterford's South East Regional Airport have issued protective notice to its 22 employees.

Management at Waterford's South East Regional Airport have issued protective notice to its 22 employees.

Last week the airport lost its only contracted airline when Euroceltic Airways announced that it would be halting daily flights to London from the end of next January.

Plans to operate a 24-hour "search and rescue" service from the airport, which was to begin in the new year, have also been shelved.
