A US firm is to invest €1m in developing a European research and development centre in Galway.

A US firm is to invest €1m in developing a European research and development centre in Galway.

APC, which makes computer network products, employs 800 people at its three existing operations in Galway, Castlebar and Dublin.

No new jobs will be created as a result of the investment.
