TDs won't be punished for election overspend

The Standards in Public Office Commission has considered the implications for spending limits for TDs, in relation to the recent Supreme Court judgment in the case of Desmond Kelly.

That case ruled that sitting Oireachtas members had an unfair advantage when it came to spending power for the General Election campaign.
