Taoiseach to meet Romanian premier

The Taoiseach is to meet the Prime Minister of Romania in Dublin this morning.

His Excellency Adrian Nastase is on a two-day official visit to Ireland.

The two men are expected to have talks on the upcoming European Council meeting in Copenhagen at which EU enlargement will be further discussed.

Romania is one of the applicant countries which hopes to join the EU by 2007.
