McCreevy announces pension rises

Charlie McCreevy has increased the old age pension by €10 per week, bringing the contributory pension to €157.30 per week and the non-contributory pension to €144 per week.

Charlie McCreevy has increased the old age pension by €10 per week, bringing the contributory pension to €157.30 per week and the non-contributory pension to €144 per week.

He announced an increase of €11 per week for widowers and widows.
