Met Eireann warns of further flooding

Met Eireann are warning that there could be further flooding in local areas due to more showers expected.

Residents in Cork today were starting to clean up after recent flooding this week caused more than €1 million worth of damage.

Areas most affected were Blackpool, Turners Cross, Kinsale, Carrigaline, Riverstown, Glanmire and Ballinspittle.

Households today were already counting the cost of damage after heavy flooding hit the country again in the last few days.
