Ahern claims strategy will lead to cheaper housing

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has claimed that the Government's long-awaited National Spatial Strategy will lead to cheaper housing.

Speaking at the launch of the strategy, Mr Ahern claimed it would also improve the quality of life for Irish citizens.
