Justice Morris due to deliver judgement on applications
The Morris Tribunal into alleged Garda corruption in Co Donegal continues in Dublin today.
The dramatic appeal by the McBrearty family for the terms of reference to be extended and their legal cost covered stole the headlines earlier this week.
When the Tribunal last sat on Tuesday, several gardai made applications to Justice Morris to have legal representation at the Tribunal.
Among them were gardai who were named during the reading of the opening statements and against whom allegations of corruption were levelled.
There were a renewed application from the Garda Representative Association and the association of Garda sergeants and inspectors.
Justice Morris will deliver a ruling on the applications at the tribunal’s headquarters at 2 o’clock today.
