Limerick gardai make four arrests

Gardai in Limerick have arrested four people in connection with three separate investigations into criminal activity.

Gardai in Limerick have arrested four people in connection with three separate investigations into criminal activity.

The arrests were all made during raids on houses in Limerick and Clare.

Two men are being held at Henry St Garda Station in relation to money laundering activities.

One of the men is believed to be a solicitor working in Limerick city.

Both men are being questioned by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

Another man is also being detained at Henry St Garda Station in an investigation into Real IRA activity.

The man was arrested at a house around 8am this morning in Moyross.

Gardai also arrested a man overnight on child pornography charges in a follow up search in Parteen.

He is currently helping Gardai with their enquiries as part of the national Garda operation ABACUS.
