Aid scheme announced for flood victims

The Government has confirmed the establishment of a humanitarian aid scheme for those worst hit by current flooding.

The Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Tom Parlon, made the announcement of the assessment-based scheme which is to be administered by the Irish Red Cross.
