Couple beaten up by masked intruders

A man in his 40’s and his girlfriend have been beaten up in a paramilitary-style attack in east Belfast police said today.

The 41-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were in a house at Ashford Green when two men wearing balaclavas forced their way in and set about the couple with baseball bats.
